Call for papers Feminismo/s, nº 28

Even though secularism is not new, it is still a controversial topic, especially in countries like ours with a long Catholic tradition. However, our beliefs are best established and interpreted in a secular environment.

The analysis of their various problems and interpretation from a gender perspective, except in very rare cases, has not been given special attention. This is why we are giving this title to the next volume of Feminismo/s.

Therefore, Laicidad y Creencias (Secularism and Beliefs) and gender issues and relations are a specific field of research and analysis open to researchers with an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspective, with particular interest either nationally and internationally.

This issue of Feminismo/s aims to compile research works with this approach of interest from different perspectives, both local, national or international.

Consequently, proposals for articles in English or Spanish on this subject are welcome. From the UA Research Institute for Gender Studies, we encourage researchers to submit their contributions on this subject.

-Proposals may include, among others and by way of example, the following topics:

  • Construction of secularism in Spain (or another country)
  • Relations State - Churches
  • Constitutional Reform
  • Individual Freedoms
  • Collective Freedoms
  • ...

  • Contentious issues of Bioethics and Law
