Profesora Titular de Derecho Constitucional en la Universidad de Alicante. Co-founder of the Constitutional Rights Feminist Network, of which she is now president (since July 2015). She was Administrator and Deputy Director of the Studies Centre on Woman of the University of Alicante (University of Alicante Institute for Gender Studies Research, in September 2014). Member of the University Seminar on Women’s Rights in the Field of Constitutional Law of the University of Alicante. Author of many publications, her lines of research are framed in the Constitutional Law and its interrelation with gender studies, citizenship and immigration, outlining her suggestions for reforms in the field of research methodology and teaching of Constitutional Law with the incorporation of feminist theories. She has taken part, among others, in various legal reports on regulations and politics of equality and their use in autonomous reforms.
She is contributor in the newspaper Información of Alicante (provincial field), with a weekly column of opinion specialised in women and men equality topics since December 2004 (the column, entitled “Hora de levantarse” is published on Sundays).
