Carlos Martos Ferrer graduated in History and specialising in Contemporary History. He also holds a Master’s degree in History of Contemporary Europe: identities and integration. He is a predoctoral candidate at the Valencian Government.
He is a current member of the group in Gender Research (assigned to the University of Alicante Research Institute for Gender Studies -IG), as well as of the research group on Contemporary Spain -EC, assigned to the Department of Contemporary Humanities, also from the University of Alicante.
His research work focuses on the study of culture in the late Franco’s regime and the Transition, as well as on women’s participation in cultural movements during this period.
